Once a week, maybe every two, when money is good, we get a new bottle of something. Anything, whatever is on sale, just to try it. Not just vodka, rum and tequila. Gin, Rye, Kaula, Baileys and things we don't even know about yet.


And fancy glasses and stirring spoons and luxury in our poverty. 

Food: Nutella & Peanut Butter Cookies

I understand that I was not the first to think of this, but it came to me the same way oreo peanut butter cookies came to me - the need was presented to my taste buds and there was a deficit... then I googled it. I am not the only one who foresees the brilliance. 

To Do: Blanket Forts

I may just make our bed like this. All day, everyday.

Happy Thought

After being away on the gold coast for so long I realized how much I like having pictures of you at my fingertips (I only had one). I'm now keeping a selection of pictures of you/us on my iPod so I can see you whenever I need that little pick me up.

Event: Host a Fishbowl Party

Okay, so this my be my excuse to buy a fish eye lens for my new camera but I still think its a kick ass idea. Fishbowl party - go to the dollar store, buy a bunch of fish bowls, insist that they are all that party guest drink from inspiring mass consumption. Extra points for actual fish present. Hilarity ensues and I go around taking several pictures akin to this one from a housewarming party I recently attended.

Event: New Years Eve

 I've never liked the idea that a couple has to spend a holiday or a landmark together. I'd rather have the choice to not feel that I'm obligated. But I would like to kiss you at midnight. If there happens to be someone there to shower us in champagne - even better.

To Do: Get Drunk on the Beach

Corner store slushees + vodka + the heat of downtown Toronto in the summer + the beaches of the east end.
